Woohoo, What a Ride!

You can leave nothing of your own.
To those you leave behind
you can only provide
the words of others.
You can advise, inspire, motivate
Influence, indicate and stimulate.
You may recognize, reveal, notify
Convey, identify and signify.
But you must communicate
through the minds of those before you.
What would you say?

Here’s what I might say:

“All growth begins at the end of your comfort zone.”

“Sometimes life is about risking it all for a dream no one can see but you.”

“Stop talking about all of the great ideas you have and DO something EPIC.”

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” — Mark Twain

“If you do not like where you are, then change it. You are not a tree.”

“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”
– Confucius

“Life is about kicking ass, not kissing it.”

“…fall in love only when you’re ready, not when you’re lonely.”

“People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.”

“Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent”
– Victor Hugo

“I have found that if you love life, life will love you back” – Arthur Rubinstein.

“Happiness is a journey, not a destination.’
-Alfred Souza

“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it. Because what the world needs is more people who have come alive.” – Howard Thurman.

“Life isn’t a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, latte in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ‘Woohoo WHAT A RIDE’!”
